The Power of The Will
Hey Y`All,
What is the power of the will? According to Google, the power of the will is the will to carry out one`s decisions, wishes, or plans. What does the power of will have to do with me? I hate to burst your imagination, but I am not perfect in any way, shape, or form. I hope you aren't either because you would not be reading this blog. The power of will has to do with me because we all have that one really lazy person in our lives. That person always gets up at like two in the afternoon. Well, if you're that lazy person give me those sleeping genes! Back to the power of will. You or some one else is denying yourself or their selves the power of the will to get up. You choose to lay in bed and sleep. The will is just you and your body making decisions. Have you ever thought of how much easier it would be if we sat there and did not do anything? It would but it wouldn't. What I mean is, when you make that choice to do absolutely nothing, you aren't getting anywhere in life by letting your parents make those decisions for you. That is why in your teenage years, you need to take control of your life and start to fly solo. Your will will make you fly solo whether your ready or not. THAT is the crazy thing about our conscience and our minds. They will make us do it whether its the right time. Now, I am not saying your mind is making you do something bad like eating the last cookie. I am saying that the mind is a powerful place and you subconsciously make decisions then you perform the action. No matter how much you argue, you still made the decision that put you in that situation. Now, you are panicking because you know your mom counts the cookies to make sure you did not take one. So, you take it upon your self to fix this mess by making a whole new batch of cookies to make sure your parent doesn't realize any of the cookies are gone. You start the batch of cookies and you hear your mother waking up. So, you go and make her breakfast in bed. See how your decision got you into a world of mess and chaos? If you didn't eat the cookie you wouldn't have to make your mom a new batch of cookies plus breakfast. Decisions are hard, but if you make the right one you wouldn't be in trouble in the first place.
Make your life easy and do what's right no matter how hard it is.
