Playing Chameleon

What is playing chameleon? Playing chameleon is when you are one persona around your friends and another with your boyfriend. Don't get me wrong. I love being around people. I even act differently around people to see what they really want from me. Maybe they like it when I am funny, or maybe they like it when I am flirty. It just depends on who I am around. People that play chameleon tend to forget who they are to please others. The more you try to please others, the more you won't be happy with who you are. You have to learn that some people just won't like you even if you act like they want you too. Playing chameleon isolates you in ways such as, not being real to the ones that love you, makes you feel alone, causes stress and sometimes depression, and leaves you blind sided to what you really want in life. Do you play chameleon? Do you wish your friends can love you for who you are? Just try showing your real self to them. Maybe they will like you. You just have to take that leap of faith.

The Train Wreck That Was Me

Hi Everyone,      I just wanted to start out this blog with a little background of who I am. So, this title of the blog is The Train Wreck That Was Me. As I start from the beginning, you do have to realize this is my first time blogging. When I was little I was put into foster care twice. Fast forward a couple of years, I hadn't been taken out of foster care for the second time. When I was five in December of 2009 I was moved out to Arizona and adopted. I am adopted by my Grandma and I live with my amazing and beautiful sister. Now fast forwarding to current day. I still live in Arizona and go to high school. Power of Peer Pressure

Hey Everyone,      So today I am talking about the power of peer pressure. I know that we all have that friend that says if you don`t do this you are not cool. Some of these supposedly "cool" things include cheating on your boyfriend, smoking marijuana, drinking alcohol, and ditching school. Now, what are you supposed to do when some one says that your not "cool"? Are you supposed to start doing all those things? Are you supposed to laugh your way out of it? The answer to all of those is find what you think is right, or if you are a believer pray to God and look to him for guidance. My advice is to look to God and pray. Asking a trusted adult is a good idea too. Although, it may be tough at times, you have to trust that God and your parent know what is best for you.
